Two hour, up-close and personal, with your favorite bird of prey.
The IRC Adult Raptor Camp is great. But some folks don't like group settings, some folks don't have a whole day to sped, others just have a fondness for one certain species, and then there are those looking for the perfect personalized gift for a loved one. A Personal Raptor Experience may be what they are looking for!

A Personal Raptor Experience is a once in a lifetime private meeting with a favorite bird of prey – up-close and personal. Participants will first learn everything they ever wanted to know about their favorite bird. Next, they will be familiarized with raptor handling equipment and how to use it. Then, when the participant is prepared and equipped, they will be introduced to the live bird of prey and finally it will be sitting on a gauntlet on their fist. It is photo time! Bring your camera!
(Please note that the Illinois Raptor Center is handicap accessible.)
The fee for a Personal Raptor Experience is $165 for individuals or $300 for couples
This program is for ages 10 years to adult. Children (18 or younger) must be accompanied by paying adult. We suggest you choose a smaller raptor for younger, smaller children.
Sorry, auditing the experience is not allowed.
Only fees paid in full reserve a PRE. Gift certificates are available for which the recipient can schedule their PRE at a later date by emailing us at illinois.raptors@gmail.com
